A large, traditional timber chalet, originally a barn that was probably converted in the 1950s, sleeping 14 people. It features several living areas, including cosy, charming attic bedrooms; the sleeping arrangements ensure everyone can enjoy their stay. Ideal for families. Large circular balcony. East, west and south-facing.
Location:
The chalet is situated at Le Cernix, 111 Chemin de la Source, in Crest Voland/Cohennoz, on a plot of approximately 1,200 square metres, accessed via a private track alongside the Télémark lift or behind the Hôtel du Mont Charvin. The shopping centre on Place du Cernix, just 70 metres away, offers a full range of local services: ski, bicycle and mountain bike hire, pushchairs, sports equipment, etc.; sales of regional produce, newspapers, bread collection point, grocery shop; Tourist Office and ski pass sales; internet café; restaurants (Le Mont Charvin and Le Montana); spa.
The chalet is situated at the foot of the Cernix slopes, which provide access to the entire Espace Diamant ski area – 200 kilometres of slopes leading to Les Saisies, Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe and Praz-sur-Arly.
The Cernix chairlift also provides direct access to the cross-country ski trails at the Col des Saisies.
It is the starting point for some beautiful summer walks towards the Beaufortin, the Aravis and the Mont Blanc range…
Car park
Four spaces to the left of the private track running alongside the Télémark, or directly on the track itself.
In winter, due to snowplough operations and when snowfall is forecast, it is advisable to find a space in the free car park opposite and just past the waste collection area and bins, on the Route de Bel Avoine.
Garden
The entire private plot in front of the chalet, facing the Aravis mountain range. The 4-metre-wide strip of land running alongside the chalet to the west is also part of the property, as is the access path to the chalet – known as the ‘chemin de la source’ – between the Route de Bel Avoine and 4 metres beyond the end of the chalet’s façade.

A large corner sofa, seating approximately 10 people, faces the fireplace and overlooks Mont Charvin. Armchairs and small stools complete the seating arrangement.
Television, DVD player, games area for children and adults with a table and chairs, table football, and a large rectangular dining table with benches.
Open-plan kitchen opening onto the lounge/dining room, fully equipped. Fridge and freezer, ceramic hob, raclette machine, full set of crockery for 14 people. Underneath the black granite worktop and on all sides are storage cupboards with concealed handles. They open with a simple push!

A security deposit of 1,000 euros is payable by cheque. This cheque must be handed over to Agence Alpina in exchange for the keys, made payable to Flavigny Catherine. It will be returned at the end of your stay when the keys are handed back.
The property is rated 2 stars and accommodates up to 6 people. According to the classification criteria for furnished holiday accommodation, attic rooms are not included in the calculation of the classification capacity; however, this does not affect the property’s actual accommodation capacity.
